JONAH Team

The JONAH Team is an evangelistic outreach ministry aimed at reaching the unsaved in the greater Manchester area. JONAH is an acronym for Jesus Outreach, Nineveh At Home. Our goal is to saturate the Manchester area with the simple Gospel message, and to achieve a revival equivalent to that of the City of Nineveh in the Book of Jonah.

The JONAH Team distributes Gospel tracts in a very non-confrontational manner. Throughout the summer months, the JONAH Team meets weekly, traveling to various local events and areas where crowds gather, such as Fisher Cats baseball games, Verizon Arena events, and shopping centers in Manchester, Bedford, Hooksett, and Londonderry. While people are occupied with their events, the JONAH Team places Bible tracts on their car door handles. In a typical evening, 800-1200 tracts are distributed. We get the Gospel message into the hands of the unsaved, and the Holy Spirit takes over from there.

The JONAH Team also maintains a supply of Gospel tracts for the use of members of the Southside Bible Fellowship body. The goal is for individuals within the Body to develop a lifestyle habit of distributing tracts in their normal daily routines, such as leaving tracts at gas pumps, on cars parked next to their own, in envelopes with monthly bills, etc. The challenge is for each member of the body to distribute one tract per day.

The JONAH Team welcomes anyone who would like to get involved in the ministry. Where else can you fellowship, get exercise, and share the Gospel message, all at the same time?
