Church Family Ministry

The Church Family Ministry is based on the Biblical principle of fellowship of believers, as best expressed in 1 Corinthians 12:25, "To keep the body from dividing and have the parts have the same concern for one another".

It is sometimes difficult, especially in a church that has multiple worship services, for members to get to know each other. The Church Family Ministry provides periodic opportunities for members of the SBF family, young and old, to assemble together in order to socialize and get to know each other better as brothers and sisters in the Lord. Past special events have included a potluck dinner while filling shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, Christmas caroling and cookie swap, and a soup, chowder, and sledding party.
