Who We Are...

Southside Bible Fellowship began as a new body in the fall of 1992, from the uniting of Grace Baptist Fellowship Church and Calvary Baptist Church.  God has worked mightily as the two separate bodies have been united as one.

The following statements describe who we are:

• We're a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church, with teachings that bring Biblical truth to everday life.
• We're very family oriented, with relevant ministries available for all members of the family,  including a very active, fun, and safe teen youth group, and various children's programs, from pre-school to pre-teen. Child care is also available at all services.
• We're friendly and welcoming, and are always pleased to see new faces join our family.
• We're active locally, nationally, and internationally to help others in need, and to share  in the good news of Jesus Christ.

SBF members seek to be friendly to all, and it's our desire to share our life in Christ with our friends, family members, and community at large.

We're an expanding ministry.......since the formation of the one new body, God has raised up many people who are serving Him in ever expanding ministries.  SBF encourages its members to be creative in initiating new ministries that serve the Christian community at large.
