WELCOME TO SOUTHSIDE BIBLE FELLOWSHIP

WORSHIP AND MESSAGE: 10:30 AM

You Are Welcome At SBF!

We  have been waiting for you!

You are welcome to join us for worship of almighty God, the study of God’s Word, and fellowship with other brothers and sisters in our Lord and God, Jesus Christ, on Sunday mornings.

We encourage you to read our full purpose statement and core values at the bottom of this page, as it describes in detail why:

Our vision is to connect with people from all walks of life, encourage everyone to know Christ and equip believers to serve one another.

Our objectives are to glorify God our savior, Jesus Christ, equip the saints for the work of ministry, evangelize the lost both locally and globally, and serve the needy both in the church and outside the church

Meet our Leadership

Pastor Vallerian Mganga was born and raised in Kenya. God has blessed he and his wife, Loise, with three lovely children Wisdom, WilG, and WrejinC.

As a young man Vallerian entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and later felt God’s call to the ministry. He has served as a Youth Pastor and an Associate Pastor for over 9 years in Kenya, before coming to America to further his studies.

Pastor Vallerian is a graduate of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, MA with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology in preaching. One of his many desires is to see the local church rise with a renewed vision for evangelism and discipleship. Pastor Vallerian is a dynamic preacher/teacher of the Word of God, and is committed to helping people grow in their relationship with God and others. One of his other passions is training and equipping untrained pastors and church leaders in East Africa with theological education.

Dave Raiche (Elder)

Dave received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1983, and has been a member of Southside Bible Fellowship for the last thirty-five years. He has served in this local body faithfully, in a variety of roles: elder, deacon, part of the R2D2 team for the building addition, the elevator construction, and other projects over the years.

Dave and Pat have been married for forty-four years, and have three grown children, and two grandchildren. Family time is important to Dave and Pat. They feel blessed to have their granddaughters and two of their children live nearby, providing many opportunities to spend time together.

Dave has worked for ProCon, Inc. for thirty-seven years. His interests include: duck hunting, British cars (which always need TLC), building construction of any kind, and canoeing. He is looking forward to a “semi” retirement in the next several years.

Ken Mason (Elder)

Ken and his wife Ruth-Ellen have lived in Manchester for five years after raising their three daughters in near-by Hampstead. Both were born in New York and raised in Pennsylvania. They met in High School Youth Group and married in 1977, they moved to NH in 1981.

Ken trusted Christ as Savior at age seventeen at a youth outreach meeting. Prior to Southside, Ken’s service at Calvary Bible Church spanned more than thirty years and allowed him to serve in various teaching (Men, Adults, Senior High, and Grief Processing) and leadership roles.  More recently (since 2015) Ken and Ruth-Ellen have attended and served here at Southside. Ken teaches an Adult Sunday School Class, serves on the Pastoral Search Team, and is one of our Pulpit Supply stand-ins.

Ken was educated at Bucks County Community College (Marketing) and Philadelphia College of Bible (Pastoral Studies) The bulk of Ken’s industrial career was spent in the Capital Equipment segment of the Semiconductor Industry, marketing large manufacturing systems. Since October 2015 Ken has worked at Merrimack Street Volvo, enjoying a little more spare time for his passions and interests.

Ken says “Without question my greatest gift is Ruth-Ellen”, together they have three daughters and six grandchildren,

Ken’s leadership outlook is pretty simple – look to the people on your right and on your left and ask “how can I help?”

Pat Raiche (Deacon)

Pat recently retired from the Bedford school system. She is looking forward to spending time with her granddaughters and planning renovations to “the shack”, which will be their retirement home. Currently Pat administers the SBF Deacons’ Fund, facilitates the women’s Sunday School class, teaches in Children’s Church, and volunteers with Straight Ahead Ministries at the YSC.

Dave and Pat have been married for forty-four years, and have three grown children, and two grandchildren. Family time is important to Dave and Pat. They feel blessed to have their granddaughters and two of their children live nearby, providing many opportunities to spend time together.

Abimana Ngira (Deacon)

Abimana and Marie Louise have been living in Manchester since 2008, they are married and have 5 children.  They discovered SBF in Spring 2018, and since then; SBF has been a blessing for them and others.

Abimana graduated at Southern New Hampshire University in 2015, with a Master’s in Business Administration. He is currently teaching Foreigner Languages at NHTI, and works as Interpreter at Language Bank.

He is passionate about the word of God, he knows that “without Him, he can do nothing” John 15:4-6. In his life he has seen the power of the word of God in action on many occasions.

He likes riding bikes with his brothers in Christ at SBF. He loves his wife Mary and his children, his goal is to raise them with the knowledge of the word of God.

Miles Martin (Deacon)

Miles has been married to his wife Andrea for 20 years and they have been blessed with 4 wonderful kids while raising them here in Manchester: Aidan, Blaise, Ella and Alexandria. He has shown his dedication and commitment to Christ Jesus serving in various areas of ministry that includes Children’s Church, Youth Ministry, Stewardship Ministry, Men’s Ministry and serving as a Trustee.

Miles graduated from Boston University with an Electrical Engineering degree and has been working in the Semiconductor Industry for over 22 years, but his real passion is to uphold the value of marriage, sanctity of life and to serve lost and forgotten souls for the glory of God.

Coaching his sons and daughters over the years in multiple sports along with many hiking, camping and fishing trips have provided an opportunity to model His walk with the Lord while encouraging, empowering and supporting those placed in his path. He has also served in the community as a school PTO President, school Basketball Coach and led after-school STEM related clubs.

One of Miles’ favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Wayne Brigham (Deacon)

Wayne & Cheryl have been married for over 50 years and have three adult children Kenneth, Kimberly and Kevin. They have been members of SBF for about fifteen years. Wayne has served in Awana, as a greeter, usher and part of the trustee team. He oversaw the heating plant installation when the new addition was added. • Mission

SBF Core Values

1. We are a Christ-Centered Church – We believe it is the person of Jesus Christ

and the gospel, which is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.

(Romans 1:16; 1 Peter 4:11; Colossians 1:

2. We are a Bible-Based Church – We value sound Biblical theology in our

teaching and preaching. We seek to teach God’s Word with integrity and

authority so unchurched unbelievers find Christ, and believers mature in Him. (2

Timothy 3:16-17)

3. We are a Safe Church – We are committed to providing a spiritually,

emotionally, and physically safe environment where people can care for and love

one another as God’s truth and grace become a way of life. (John 8:32; Titus

2:11-12)

4. We are a Discipling Church – We value and are committed to discipleship

through biblical training and authentic modeling of our lives as active, intentional

followers of Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20)

5. We are a Missional and Serving Church — We are committed to Christ’s

mission in Manchester, the surrounding areas, and around the world; as well as

service, and the declaration of God’s worth to those who have yet to experience

the grace of God. We are committed to share the gospel with those for whom

religion is an outward duty devoid of joy and delight. We value moving out of our

building and into our community through God ordained relational connections as

well as a variety of acts of service, kindness, and generosity (Luke 4:18; 24:46-

48).
