Your Path to Membership
Follow these seven steps to become an active member of Southside Bible Fellowship
Meet with a Pastor or Leader
Schedule a meeting with a pastor or church leader for guidance. This is an opportunity to discuss your faith journey, ask questions, and learn more about SBF.
Complete and Submit Membership Application
Fill out the membership application form, providing your personal information and testimony of faith.
Read the New Members' Booklet
Familiarize yourself with our church's history, beliefs, values, and expectations. This booklet is designed to help you understand what it means to be part of SBF.
Attend New Members' Orientation
Participate in orientation meetings where you'll learn more about church life, ministries, and opportunities to serve.
Sign the SBF Church Covenant
Commit to the church covenant, agreeing to uphold biblical principles and support the church family.
Leadership Approval
Your application will be reviewed by church leadership to ensure alignment with our statement of faith and values.
Presentation and Acceptance
Be formally presented to and welcomed by the congregation during a Sunday service. Welcome to the family!
Membership Requirements
To become a member of Southside Bible Fellowship, you must:

Or have parental consent if under 18

Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Profess faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior

Have been baptized by immersion
As a believer, following your profession of faith

Pledge to support and participate in church life
Member Rights and Responsibilities
Member Rights

Member Responsibilities

- • Support the church financially through tithes and offerings
- • Serve in ministry using your spiritual gifts
- • Pray for church leadership and members
- • Practice biblical accountability and reconciliation
- • Share the Gospel and make disciples
